1. Purpose and scope
These Terms and Conditions (hereinafter the "Terms") govern all services provided by Golden Puffs, headquartered in Zurich (Switzerland), to its clients (private individuals or businesses) in connection with mobile catering, event catering, private events or festival appearances.
Any order implies the client's full and unreserved acceptance of these Terms. Any conflicting condition from the client shall not be enforceable against Golden Puffs without prior written agreement.
2. Services offered
Golden Puffs offers two families of services:
2.1 Event catering (B2B / B2C)
A turnkey service for corporate events, launches, end-of-year parties, weddings, birthdays, or any other private event. Unless otherwise stated in the quote, the service includes:
- provision of a complete mobile stand;
- a trained service team in uniform;
- made-to-order preparation of the products;
- service and cleaning of the production area.
2.2 Festivals and public events
Golden Puffs takes part in festivals, markets and public events whose programme is published for guidance on the site. The terms of direct sale to consumers in this context are those displayed at the stand at the time of the transaction.
3. Quote and confirmation
Every catering service is subject to a tailored quote drawn up on the basis of the information provided by the client (date, location, number of guests, specific constraints).
The quote is valid for 30 days from its issue, unless otherwise stated. The order becomes firm and final once the client signs the quote and pays the deposit set out in article 5.
Golden Puffs undertakes to respond to any quote request within 48 working hours.
4. Prices and pricing terms
Prices are stated in Swiss francs (CHF) and are inclusive of all taxes, unless otherwise stated in the quote. Prices may vary depending on the parameters of the service: number of guests, service duration, location, logistical constraints (access, electricity, permits), and seasonality.
Indicative public prices: Small CHF 7, Medium CHF 10, Large CHF 15 per puff puff. Extras (additional sauces and toppings): +CHF 2 per extra, up to a limit of 2 extra sauces and 2 extra toppings per product.
Additional charges may apply for: travel outside the Zurich area, night-time service, a larger team, or the provision of additional equipment (standing tables, tableware, signage).
5. Payment terms
5.1 Catering
Standard payment terms are as follows, unless otherwise stated in the quote:
- 30% deposit on order confirmation (signature of the quote);
- 70% balance on receipt of the invoice, payable within 30 days of the event date.
Payments are made by bank transfer to the account indicated on the invoice. Any invoice unpaid at the due date incurs late-payment interest at the Swiss statutory rate, plus any collection costs.
5.2 Festivals and public stands
Payment is made at the time of ordering, by card (Twint, debit, credit) or in cash, depending on the means available at the stand.
6. Cancellation and postponement
Any cancellation of a catering service by the client must be notified in writing (email to info@goldenpuffs.ch). The financial terms are as follows:
- Cancellation more than 30 days before the event date: full refund of the deposit, less any justified costs already incurred.
- Cancellation between 30 and 14 days before the event: the 30% deposit is retained by Golden Puffs.
- Cancellation less than 14 days before the event: 50% of the total quote amount is due.
- Cancellation less than 72 hours before the event: 100% of the total quote amount is due.
A change of date may be offered free of charge subject to availability, where notice is given more than 14 days before the event.
7. Client obligations
The client undertakes to:
- provide accurate and complete information when requesting a quote;
- guarantee the Golden Puffs team access to the service location at least 2 hours before service begins;
- provide the necessary power supply (230V, amperage to be confirmed per service);
- obtain all required administrative permits (municipality, venue owner, special authorisations where needed);
- communicate in advance any particular logistical constraint (access, floors, shared equipment).
Any additional service not provided for in the quote and requested on the day will be invoiced separately.
8. Golden Puffs obligations
Golden Puffs undertakes to:
- respect the agreed schedule and the defined programme;
- provide fresh, made-to-order products compliant with Swiss food hygiene standards;
- deploy a professional team, in uniform, trained in preparation and service;
- respect the premises made available and clean the production area;
- communicate any change or constraint as early as possible.
9. Allergens and food safety
All Golden Puffs puff puffs are 100% vegan. However, some flavours and toppings contain allergens:
- Gluten : present in the dough (wheat-flour base);
- Tree nuts : Hazelnuts, Pistachio;
- Other allergens : detailed at the stand or provided on request when ordering.
The client must inform Golden Puffs of any known major allergy or intolerance among their guests when ordering. Golden Puffs cannot be held liable for an allergic reaction occurring in the absence of prior information from the client.
Golden Puffs complies with Swiss legislation on food hygiene and traceability (LDAl, ODAlOUs). Internal checks are carried out at every service.
10. Force majeure
Neither party shall be held liable for a failure to meet its contractual obligations in the event of force majeure as defined by Swiss case law: natural disaster, extreme weather making the service impossible (for outdoor events), pandemic, government decision prohibiting the service, or major failure of critical equipment not attributable to Golden Puffs.
In such a situation, the parties will first endeavour to agree on a postponement. Failing an agreement to postpone within 30 days, the contract may be terminated without penalty, the deposit being retained up to the amount of justified costs already incurred.
11. Insurance
Golden Puffs holds professional public liability insurance covering damage caused to third parties in connection with its services. A certificate can be provided to the client on request.
It is the client's responsibility to take out their own insurance for personal property or equipment present at the event location.
12. Personal data
The processing of personal data collected under these Terms (quote form, invoicing, communications) is governed by our Privacy policy, which forms an integral part of these Terms.
13. Disputes and governing law
These Terms are governed by Swiss law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will first endeavour to find an amicable solution. Failing an amicable resolution within 60 days, any dispute will fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts of the Canton of Zurich.
